Helios Digitech Oy operates Helios OS as a European, sovereignty-oriented operational AI initiative. Privacy, data minimisation and operational trust are foundational to how we build, not policies added afterwards. This page explains in clear language what information we collect, why, and the rights you hold under the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).
1. Data controller
Helios Digitech Oy (Finland) is the data controller for information collected through this website. For any privacy-related question or request, contact: privacy@heliosdigitech.com.
2. What information we collect
We collect only what is necessary for legitimate operational and partnership communication. When you submit the Position Paper form, we collect: full name, email address, organization, country, role / interest area, language of submission, and the timestamp of your request. We do not collect special-category personal data, and we do not profile visitors for advertising.
3. Why we collect it
Information submitted through forms is used solely to (a) deliver the Position Paper, (b) evaluate alignment for strategic partnership, research collaboration or institutional engagement, and (c) reply to your inquiry. We do not use submitted information for advertising, behavioural targeting, or resale.
4. Lawful basis for processing
Processing is based on your explicit consent (GDPR Art. 6(1)(a)) given when you tick the consent box on the form, and on legitimate interest (GDPR Art. 6(1)(f)) in conducting strategic and operational AI collaboration discussions with parties who have explicitly contacted us.
5. How information is stored
Submissions are stored in a secured European database (Lovable Cloud / Supabase, EU region) with row-level access controls. Access is limited to Helios Digitech personnel involved in partnership review. We do not export contact data to advertising platforms or data brokers.
6. Third parties
We do not share, sell, rent or otherwise transfer your information to third parties for marketing purposes. We may use the following operational sub-processors strictly to operate this website and its forms: Lovable Cloud / Supabase (EU-hosted database & infrastructure) and Cloudflare (edge delivery). In the future, we may use Brevo (Sendinblue, EU) solely for transactional or partnership communication — never for purchased marketing lists. Any such use will respect your original consent.
7. Data retention
We retain partnership inquiry data for as long as the strategic relationship is being evaluated or active, and for up to 24 months after the last meaningful contact, after which it is deleted or anonymised. You may request earlier deletion at any time.
8. Your GDPR rights
You have the right to: access the personal data we hold about you; correct inaccurate data; request deletion (right to be forgotten); restrict or object to processing; withdraw consent at any time; and lodge a complaint with your national supervisory authority (in Finland: Tietosuojavaltuutetun toimisto, tietosuoja.fi). To exercise any of these rights, email privacy@heliosdigitech.com — we will respond within 30 days.
9. Cookies and tracking
This website is intentionally lightweight. We use only strictly-necessary functional cookies/local storage required to remember your language preference. We do not currently run third-party advertising trackers, behavioural analytics, or cross-site tracking pixels. If we later introduce optional analytics, we will request your consent through a clear, GDPR-compliant banner before any non-essential cookie is set.
10. How submissions are handled
Position Paper requests are reviewed manually by Helios Digitech. We do not automatically subscribe submitters to newsletters or marketing automation. Each inquiry is treated as the start of a potential strategic, research or institutional conversation — not as a sales lead.
11. Children
This website and its forms are intended for professional and institutional audiences. We do not knowingly collect data from individuals under 16.
12. Changes to this policy
When this policy materially changes, we will update the date at the top of this page and, where appropriate, notify previously-contacted partners directly.
